When is the Visitor Centre open?

The Seven Lochs Visitor Centre is open daily from 8:00 AM until sunset, matching our standard venue operating hours. Guided walks and ranger events take place at set times throughout the week.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! We are proudly dog-friendly. Your four-legged friends are incredibly welcome along all of our walking trails and inside the visitor hub itself; just make sure to keep them on a lead to protect the local nesting wildlife.

What nature and wildlife will I see?

Depending on the season, keep your eyes peeled for majestic roe deer, water voles, stunning grey herons, and the famous swans of Hogganfield Loch.

Can I bring a picnic?

Yes! There are beautiful designated picnic spots dotted along the paths. Alternatively, you can complete your nature trek by heading straight into the indoor Big Feed Bothy on-site to fuel up on incredible street food, local craft beers, and artisan coffees!
